AKT were asked by a client working in the rail industry to devise a workshop based on a serious accident at work. ‘The Family’ is an exploration of the causes of a terrible accident at a train depot, and the devastating aftermath for those involved.

Last week, following our safety leadership open day, we took our new fire safety programme ‘Smouldering’, to a client in aviation. The workshop examined the circumstances surrounding the devastating fire at King’s Cross Underground station in 1987, where 31 people died and 60 seriously injured.
