Early on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, using simultaneous translation, AKT facilitated a 2-day ISCN-WINS Nuclear Security conference being run from Tokyo, Japan.

AKT launched its new website today, whilst also promoting our new online programmes with AKT Online.

At this time of year, AKT usually hires a private venue and throws a Christmas Party to say thank you to our associates for all their amazing hard work during the year. Of course this is 2020 so the party had to move online, and we still had a brilliant night!

One of our clients asked us to develop and deliver a new safety programme about excavations. We filmed on location over two days at a landfill site and the programme will roll out in early 2021.

For ten years now, AKT has been working with the World Institute for Nuclear Security and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency to deliver nuclear security programmes as part of the JAEA’s annual conference in Tokyo.

One of the advantages of delivering online programmes is that participants can join remotely from all over the world. This session was delivered to participants from Australia, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates, which meant it had to start at 5am UK time!
